Abstract. In this paper an assortment collection of women’s jumpsuits in different style directions was created. The main purpose of the work is to update and increase the assortment of women’s clothing.

Diversify the assortment of women’s clothing can be achieved with the help of such a useful and fashionable item of dressing as a jumpsuit. Today, the jumpsuit is at the peak of popularity. Variations of the jumpsuit can often be seen as evening wear and casual wear in the wardrobe of show biz stars, TV presenters, representatives of the business community and even female politicians.

The jumpsuit was for a long time considered an attribute of the working class only. Its comfort and functionality were highlighted by the many pockets and the dense cotton fabric from which it was sewn. The look of working clothes has so strongly merged with this detail of the wardrobe that many people still do not dare to buy a jumpsuit. However, every year more and more people are buying this item from the range of children’s and women’s clothing, both as sports, outerwear and casual wear, as well as party costume variations.

The paper considers style trends in modern clothing. For many centuries there have been three main styles in fashion: classic, sporty and romantic (fantasy). Beside the main styles, emerging trends in fashion, art, social and cultural events give rise to many new styles and microstyles.

In this work at the stage of sketch design the art projection of the system of women’s jumpsuit models in different styles: sports, linen, folklore, retro-romantic and «romantic classic» was carried out. The designed models are characterised by original compositional decisions.
