Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of sustainable and innovative ways to reduce environmental damage in the fashion industry. The influence of fashion is defined in all spheres of cultural and socio-economic life, and responsible production and consumption is becoming one of the global trends. Today, the light and textile industries are determined by the huge impact on the environment.
The authors reviewed the current practices of sustainable production that help to solve the emerging environmental problems in the fashion world.
The article analyzes and discusses aspects of the environmental problem and the possibility of solving it in the design of modern clothing using innovative eco-technologies. The developed classification of innovations in the fashion industry allows us to reveal promising areas for creating fashionable goods. The introduction and application of these innovative technologies guarantees new opportunities for the development of the fashion world and the popularization of eco-ideas in the minds of consumers.
One of the most promising ways to reduce the negative impact on the environment can be called the digitalization of fashion. Today, virtual fashion is still at an early stage of development, but its potential for future applications in various fields is undeniable. Virtual fashion is a more sustainable and flexible alternative to traditional clothing production methods, making it attractive to fashion companies and brands. This allows you to reduce production time and costs, improve visualization and adapt to changing market conditions, which are key success factors in today’s fashion industry.
The use of virtual fashion will help reduce the environmental impact associated with the creation and production of a large number of fashion products.
