Abstract. In this study, the artistic image is a multidimensional concept that encompasses philosophy, art, psychology, and the aesthetics of modern costume design. The structure of the study involves examining the artist’s thought process from external manifestations to internal self-awareness, where the image is not only a result of perceiving the world through visual senses but also a complex interplay of thought, emotions, associations, and social interactions. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the structure of artistic image formation, the factors that form the psychological tension of the form and evoke certain associations with emotional and sensual content are identified. From the perspective of the laws governing the structure of artistic composition, the methods and technologies in the visual arts and fashion art are examined, and the way these two forms of art convey different emotional levels through consciousness and imaginative-associative imagination is analyzed, taking into account modern psychological theories.
