Application of applied information technologies in the study of characteristics of materials and light industry products

Abstract. The article highlights aspects related to a comprehensive approach to the study of structural characteristics of materials for the manufacture of light industry products and their impact on the quality indicators of clothing production. The paper presents the description of the author’s program in the programming language Delphi, which allows the determination of the main characteristics of the structure of the fabric (thread diameter of warp and weft, linear filling fabric basis and a duck, a linear filling stick to the framework and a duck, surface filling, volumetric filling, fill by weight, surface porosity, total porosity, coefficient of coherence on the basis of and duck, volume porosity). The program consists of several stages: setting the source data by entering it, or selecting it from the appropriate reference lists; direct calculation of the studied tissue parameters; formation of a database of materials. The use of this software product will significantly speed up the process of determining the structural characteristics of materials, systematically store information about various types of fabrics, form libraries with visual viewing of samples, which in turn will allow you to make a reasonable selection of materials in the manufacture of clothing. This article also presents the results of data processing of a complete factor experiment aimed at investigating the influence of material characteristics determined using the application program proposed by the author on the amount of material contraction. The construction of a multi-factor mathematical model in vector-matrix form was carried out using Mathcad engineering software. The technology of mathematical modeling proposed by the author allows predicting the quality indicators of light industry products at the manufacturing stages, depending on the characteristics of the materials used, and selecting the optimal filling parameters of sewing equipment.
