Abstract. This article examines modern clothing design technologies used in the fashion industry. Particular attention is paid to the advantages of digital design: accelerated production cycles, reduced costs, increased product customization, and environmentally friendly processes. The authors systematize the key capabilities of 3D modeling programs for creating consumer goods. The article examines the development of a wedding dress collection using Style3D. The authors analyzed the program’s functionality, developed and tested a methodology for designing products in Style3D, and implemented practical cases for creating and decorating models. The article presents the results of a study of the key functional capabilities of the software package, including the simulation of the physical properties of materials, virtual fitting, and the creation of digital twins of clothing. The stages of material digitization, pattern creation and adjustment, analysis of product fit on a virtual figure, and the graphic design of wedding dress models using various types of lace and decorative elements are described. Particular attention is paid to the selection of materials and the visual comparison of design options. The authors developed several design variations for a single model, demonstrating the software’s flexibility for creative experimentation. The paper presents practical aspects of using Style3D to optimize the collection development process. Based on an analysis of the program’s functionality, the authors demonstrate its impact on reducing time and material costs, increasing visualization accuracy, and minimizing errors during the design phase. The authors also substantiate the potential of Style3D for use in professional design practice.
