Abstract. The article deals with issues related to the integrated approach in the design of a sports suit for triathlon, taking into account ergonomic characteristics. To assess the dynamic compliance, the authors studied the characteristic movements performed by an athlete when practicing three types of triathlon disciplines — swimming, running, cycling; developed a classification of characteristic movements performed by a triathlete athlete; compiled ergonomic schemes for each sport included in the triathlon. Based on the conducted ergonomic analysis, a list of dimensional features that undergo the greatest change during triathlon is determined: chest circumference, hip circumference, chest width, back width, shoulder circumference, elbow circumference, hip circumference, knee circumference, waist length in front, back length to waist, chest height, arm length to wrist, length on the outside of the leg to the ankle. Ergonomic studies have been carried out to determine dynamic dimensional features and dynamic effects have been calculated. Based on the analysis of the assessment of the significance of the influence of individual dimensional features on the level of ergonomics of the design of a sports suit for triathlon, the structural areas were identified as the most susceptible to changes: chest width, back width, elbow circumference, hip circumference, knee circumference, arm length to wrist, length on the outside of the leg to the ankle. The application of the research results in the design of a sports suit for a triathlon will allow us to develop recommendations on the choice of materials, structural additions; to develop an integrated approach to the development of sportswear in order to ensure ergonomic compliance when practicing such a sport as triathlon, which includes three sports disciplines with different movements.
