Abstract. The article analyzes the cultural and symbolic significance of regional symbols. The authors noted that the cultural symbol for the Kursk region is the nightingale bird, which has deep roots in the region’s heritage. It is emphasized that the use of regional symbols in clothing and accessories is a significant factor contributing to the preservation of cultural identity. The integration of regional motifs into modern design leads to the creation of culturally significant products. The article offers modern approaches to the design of light industry products using neural network technologies and digital tools. The authors focus on the integration of ornaments that reflect the symbols of the Kursk region, which allows not only to preserve the cultural heritage, but also to create a unique image of the region. The authors conducted a study of methods for generating ornaments symbolizing the region, as well as the possibilities of using digital prototyping to quickly create products. The Stylist3D program is used to develop three-dimensional clothing models. The analysis of the capabilities of this program for editing graphic elements and their subsequent implementation in clothing models was carried out. In the course of the study, the authors developed various variants of goods with graphic ornaments-symbols of the Kursk region: T-shirts, backpacks, bags; implemented a technology for producing ornaments and seamless prints for fabric. The analysis of the obtained practical results confirms the effectiveness of using these technologies, which in turn helps to optimize the design process of light industry products decorated with ornaments with cultural symbols of the region.
