During the stay in nature, it is necessary to pay special attention to the protection of vulnerable places, mobile joints of the human skeleton, elbows, knees, and ankles. Bionics – these are the principles of the existence of nature and the future existence of humanity in harmony with nature. Living nature improves the forms of living organisms, a person can borrow the principles and features of the internal and external structure for the development of protective full-scale models in engineering, medicine, electronics and other sciences. Research and use of the forms and principles of the structure of biological organisms allows you to create protective elements and technologies that work with improved results. The study of natural shells, the properties of organisms and their parameters affects the development of modern society as a whole.

In the course of studying the structure of biological organisms, the article analyzes the body of a centipede and, based on the structure of its body segment, develops the principle of a protective elbow pad and develops its 3D model. The model is made of flexible plastic BFlex. The elbow pad can be used in the formation of clothing elements to protect vulnerable parts of the human body. In the production of a prototype jacket, a 3D model of the elbow pad is made, which is embedded in the sleeve. In addition, the design can be removable or integrated into the product. Thus, the result will expand the range of protective elements, their quality and improve the level of human protection.

Keywords: workwear; built-in protective elements; bionics; elbow pad; clothing design; natural shell; biomimetics; 3D printing; flexible plastic; exoskeleton

Zavadskaia Inga Dmitrievna Russian state university named A.N.
