For the manufacture of high-quality protective suits, textile materials with high shielding and performance properties are required. These materials must provide the required shielding factor over the entire range of required frequencies, have low electrical resistance, withstand high breaking, tearing and abrasion loads, have the required air and vapor permeability to achieve the hygienic properties of the manufactured personal protective equipment. To obtain shielding textile materials, various methods can be used, among which various vacuum metallization methods are of practical interest. The magnetron sputtering method is characterized by high productivity and the absence of a destructive effect on the surface of polymeric materials, while various methods of preliminary ion-plasma surface activation are easily integrated into the process of vacuum magnetron sputtering, which ensures an increase in the adhesive strength of the metal coating. The article presents the results of the development of technological recommendations indicating the technological parameters for the production of laminated textile materials for protection against electromagnetic radiation. Equipment for deposition of metal coatings on rolled materials by magnetron sputtering with preliminary modification in low-pressure high-frequency capacitive discharge plasma in a single vacuum cycle has been developed. The results of testing prototypes of metallized textile materials showed that materials obtained on the basis of the developed technological recommendations have high shielding properties, are characterized by improved adhesion of the metal coating, and the use of perforated polymer films allows maintaining the hygienic properties of the resulting material, which makes it possible to use the developed materials, including for the manufacture of protective clothing.
