Art), Moscow, Russia<br \/>\nE-mail: Andreeva-eg@rguk.ru<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The article is devoted to the study of biometric indicators of the pregnant women&#8217;s condition during the prenatal period using the electroconductive knitted fabric. The dependences of the tensile force and electrical resistance on the amount of stretching of the fabric have been studied. It has been revealed that the investigated sample of the electroconductive knitted fabric has the high conductivity and, thus, low sensitivity. Biometric signals have been obtained in the processes of &#171;controlled&#187; and adaptive respiration of a pregnant woman in static and dynamic states (walking) by measuring the electrical resistance during the stretching of an e-textile belt. The signals have been received during intrauterine fetal movements. It is established that the signals are reliably established only in the process of &#171;controlled&#187; respiration by a pregnant woman. It is necessary to carry out further studies with samples of electroconductive fabrics with high electrical resistance, as well as to use additional devices \u2014 sensors that allow obtaining a signal \u2014 an electrocardiogram. This study is aimed at further development of highly functional tight-fitting maternity clothing with an integrated flexible printed circuit board with monitoring and alerting functions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> smart clothing; smart textile; e-textile; biometry<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tyurin Igor Nikolaevich Russian State University named A.N.
