It is proposed to eliminate the clearly visualized asymmetry with the help of a special constructive and technological solution and the assembly of corrective bras.

It has been established that asymmetry can develop under the influence of the human genetic code or be acquired as a result of complex treatment of breast cancer, and as a complication after mammoplasty. Natural, or genetically determined, asymmetry in the size and shape of the mammary glands, women correct themselves using a variety of push-up pads placed inside bras between its inner surface and the body. The main disadvantage of this method is the mobility of the pads, the probability of their visualization relative to the contour of the linen product is high. Studies of asymmetry acquired after surgical interventions have shown that the means of its correction should suit consumers not only with an aesthetic result, but also with ergonomic and tactile characteristics. Depending on the extent of the tumor process, surgeons remove the entire mammary gland or excise part of it. To compensate for the lost volume in the relief of the body on the chest area, liners and exoprostheses of various shapes and properties are used. The monitoring conducted by the authors established the reasons for dissatisfaction with the effect of the corrective properties of exoprostheses among representatives of the target consumer audience. Since asymmetry after mammoplasty is a common complication that can be eliminated by repeated surgery, and the time interval between the first and second surgical interventions exceeds 6 months, correction of breast shape defects is also relevant for this target group of consumers.

The authors proposed a universal constructive and technological solution for a bra that corrects any variant of the asymmetry of the mammary glands. The confection package of products includes a set of textile inserts with adjustable volume, with the help of which women independently form the relief of the body on the chest area. It is proposed to design the shape and dimensions of push-up inserts in the CLO3D CAD graphic environment. The choice of a program for digital product design is due to the adequacy of the visualization of the images of garments and the properties of the confection package. The authors adapted the tools of the simulation program for the formation of a digital female figure with asymmetry of the mammary glands.

Keywords: breast asymmetry; mastectomy; corrective bras; digital figures

Guseva Marina Anatolievna Russian State University named A.N.
