The rapid technological progress, the saturation of the market with goods, the rapid change of fashion has led to the formation of new consumer requirements for the price and model diversity of clothing.

A form is perceived by a person as an appearance, a silhouette of an object, which carries information about the configuration and interaction of this object with its surrounding space. Form is a morphological and volumetric — spatial organization of a thing, obtained by transforming the material. The creation of an artistically expressive form of a costume is the main task of the artist — fashion designer. Drapeability is used to characterize the shaping properties of clothing materials. But this indicator is more of a qualitative nature and does not describe the physics of this process. The formation of a spatial form of clothing from flat parts, connected in a certain way into a single whole, is a process that can be called the process of shaping the surface of clothing. This is a complex multifactorial process, which is carried out as a result of the interaction of elements of the material-technology-man system. Forming involves the material with its deformation properties, which largely determine the shape of clothing.

Modern design systems carry out the process of 3D design of structures with its subsequent development. Designing clothing elements in a virtual environment facilitates the process of evaluating the fit of clothing, making changes to the design of a layout designed in a virtual environment, while adjusting flat patterns.

The article proposes a method for modifying and changing the silhouette shape of the shoulder girdle; a method for obtaining a development of a shoulder pad and a method for designing a digital shoulder pad of an approximate shape of a shoulder pad of a real environment are described.

Keywords: shoulder pad; virtual environment; upper support surface; digital clothing; clothing surface shaping; clothing shape; suit shape; 3D design

Goguzev Danyil Nikolaevich Russian State University named A.N.
