The established standard figures and usages do not provide an opportunity to take into account military personnel with non-standard standard figures, which does not allow ensuring the applicability of these regulatory documents in full.

A correlation analysis of standards for typical figures of men and military personnel was carried out. A new classification of typical figures of military personnel has been developed and recommended, which most rationally and accurately describes the dimensional characteristics of military personnel at the moment. It includes typical figures with a chest circumference of 60–136 cm and a waist of 40–128 cm with an interval of indifference of 4 cm, height of 158–200 cm with an interval of indifference of 6 cm. In total, 402 typical figures were identified in this classification, distributed into 9 complete groups.

A correlation analysis of the established normative documentation and actual usages of military clothing was carried out. It is established that even with a two-dimensional system of usurers in terms of chest circumference and height, there is a weak relationship between actual and established normative documentation of usurers. These regulatory documents do not take into account most of the actual size characteristics of military personnel.

In order to improve the standard figures and sprouts established in the regulatory documentation, it is proposed to regularly conduct anthropometric surveys of military personnel and citizens of military age, based on the data of which it is necessary to update the requirements of regulatory documentation, and when developing and approving the size of sprouts, take into account atypical actual measurements.

Keywords: military clothing; size characteristics; size and growth assortment; standard figures; anthropometric surveys; correlation analysis; correlation coefficient

Kotomenkova Olga Gennadievna Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint-Petersburg, Russia E-mail: kot-og@yandex.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0034-0315 RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=620741 WoS: https://www.webofscience.com/wos/author/rid/AAF-5638-2019 Google Scholar: https://scholar.google.ru/citations?user=JrjiUnYAAAAJ SCOPUS: https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.url?authorId=57205389274 Vinogradova Anna Vyacheslavovna Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint-Petersburg, Russia E-mail: ann-vin@yandex.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6039-429X RSCI: …

[42,5

post-2023","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-vol8-no4","category-article
["GET
