Light industry is on the rise. New directions for training students are actively developing, the training program is being adjusted taking into account automation and optimization of the production process.

Light industry enterprises are aimed at increasing production output per shift with high quality garments. This can be achieved by automating production processes, introducing new processing technologies and innovative materials.

Today, there are many directions for the development of clothing production. To a greater extent, the production of finished products depends on a properly structured technological process. The technological process, in turn, is subject to automation and the introduction of innovative materials and technologies.

The article contains information about experimental work with combinations of textiles and thermoplastics used in 3D printing technology. The possibilities of 3D printing using flexible thermoplastic polymers to impart a complex of new properties to clothing while maintaining ergonomics and hygroscopicity are considered. The results of a search for optimal pressing modes for polymer elements of various thicknesses for gluing to textile materials are described.

Using the example of a women’s corset with three-dimensional elements made of thermoplastic, a study of the technological process was carried out, the introduction of innovative technology into the classic one, and a full production cycle was built. Additive technologies allow you to build the entire process of creating a product in a three-dimensional environment, from a sketch to a finished model. The three-dimensional design environment, in turn, makes it possible to eliminate all kinds of defects at the development stage by using three-dimensional fitting.

Keywords: three-dimensional polymer printing; technology for manufacturing garments; additive technologies; 3D printing of parts; 3D printer; thermoplastic polymer; increasing profitability

Dugelnaia Kseniia Nikolaevna Russian State University named after Kosygin A.N.
