The authors determined that visualization is necessary both at the stage of design preparation and when assessing the quality of design solutions. Simulation of fittings in 3D graphic programs allows you to eliminate design errors and reduce the material consumption of the design stage. To increase the competitiveness of products, it is necessary to develop the presentation of virtual analogues of products on the Internet platforms of manufacturers and trading companies. This service is aimed at customizing the process of designing fur clothing, expanding the model range through design personalization, design and technological solutions, and product configuration.

Designers and constructors of modern fur enterprises must have skills in working in three-dimensional graphic programs, including modules for simulating the visual characteristics of the designed objects. An analysis of the capabilities of modern three-dimensional graphic editors has shown the acceptability of their use in the process of simulation design of fur clothing. Based on testing the tools of simulation computer-aided design systems available to domestic users, the authors formulated the main stages of detailing the generation of a complex texture of a fur surface.

The study established that in the process of visualizing the fur surface, the designer needs to perform diverse graphic work aimed at generating complex geometric tasks — simulating the texture of fur, the color features and structure of all types of hairs in virtual space. Modeling of objects with complex textured surfaces can be realized through multi-stage simulation design.

The authors found that it is impossible to implement the complex task of generating a virtual analogue of a fur surface in one virtual fitting simulator program. The designer must have user skills in several graphic editors.

Keywords: fur visualization; hair; simulation design; aesthetic redesign; graphic editor; coloring

Guseva Marina Anatolievna Russian State University named A.N.
