Abstract.<\/strong> The article presents an analysis of the results of anthropometric studies of the hands of women of various age categories, necessary for the further development of scientifically based databases for the design of glove-hand products using computer-aided design systems. As part of the research work, the methods of obtaining anthropometric data were analyzed and one of them was selected. Instruments for carrying out anthropometric measurements have been identified. The research was conducted by the authors on the basis of the Kosygin Russian State University, Moscow. The dimensions were obtained using a flexible measuring tape. Data were taken from the hands of the test groups at different positions. The primary processing of the data obtained made it possible to identify the main trends in changes in the parameters of the hands in different age categories. All subjects were divided into three age groups \u2014 \u00abjuvenile age\u00bb, \u00abmature age, period I\u00bb, \u00abmature age, period II\u00bb. The data obtained are systematized according to various criteria. The study revealed the dependence of changes in indicators on the age of the subjects. The result of the study is the systematization of data, as well as preliminary conclusions about the causes of the identified changes.<\/p>\n

This approach is being developed within the framework of the dissertation of K.V. Tsoi \u00abResearch and development of designs of women’s glove products using modern information technologies\u00bb The authors present the results of statistical processing of anthropometric information in order to obtain anthropometric data. This is due to the fact that systematized databases of anthropometric parameters of the hands will improve the design process of glove products using the obtained information in computer-aided design systems.<\/p>\n
