The conducted studies analyze the influence of the type of shoes on the level of electrostatic charge, and also allowed to develop a mathematical model for more accurate assessment and separation of the stages of accumulation and flow of static electricity, which is important for the scientific understanding of the process and practical application in the production of special and everyday shoes.

The study was carried out using the method of natural imitation and consisted of two stages. At the first stage — charge accumulation — fluctuations in the accumulated electrostatic field strength were noted. At the second stage, exponentially fast charge flow occurs. For the mathematical description of both stages, a nonlinear regression model was used, which made it possible to estimate the boundaries between these stages and the charge flow time. The results of the first stage were studied using the methods of correlation and spectral analysis, which confirmed the presence of significant dependencies between the values of the electrostatic field strength at different points in time and revealed two main oscillatory processes in charge accumulation. Based on the results of the second stage, a more accurate assessment of the charge drain time was performed.

The described studies were carried out for various types of footwear, which made it possible to obtain an objective comprehensive assessment of the compared samples and draw conclusions about their applicability. The results obtained are of great practical importance and can be used to develop effective and safe antistatic footwear, which is especially important in the context of preventing possible electrostatic discharges that can cause traumatic situations or damage to equipment.

Keywords: static electricity; footwear; charge accumulation; mathematical modeling; electrostatic discharges; antistatic footwear; correlation analysis; spectral analysis

Belitskaya Olga Alexandrovna Russian State University named after Kosygin A.N.
