Within the experimental part, an assessment was made of changes in the tensile strength, elastic modulus, impact strength, and heat resistance of composites obtained with different contents of fibrous filler. It was found that such treatment contributes to a significant improvement in the interphase interaction between the matrix and the reinforcing phase, as evidenced by the transformation of the nature of destruction of the composite material from predominantly adhesive to cohesive-adhesive type. A significant increase in critical temperatures and heat resistance of the composites was recorded using thermomechanical analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. It is shown that the greatest effect is achieved with an optimal percentage of reinforcing fibers equal to 20 %. The obtained data confirm the high efficiency of the low-energy ion flow as a tool for targeted surface modification of reinforcing components without violating their volumetric integrity. The fact that the destruction mechanism changes from predominantly adhesive to cohesive-adhesive can be regarded as a visual confirmation of the efficiency of ion treatment in the context of improving strength characteristics. Such behavior is especially valuable for materials intended for use under impact or cyclic loads, where the stability of interphase interaction determines the durability and reliability of the entire product.
