However, the entire clothing creation process, from drawings and design to finished garments, can take months, making it difficult to respond to changing fashion trends.

The authors present an approach to 3D modeling, 2D modeling, and computer-aided clothing design in the fashion industry using the Marvelous Designer and Maple software packages for virtual product creation. Key aspects of modern fashion industry technologies are discussed: digitalization and automation of production, optimization of clothing design and manufacturing processes, information support throughout the entire product lifecycle, meeting the personalized needs of each client, and addressing resource conservation issues. The operating principles of Marvelous Designer software and its advantages, including avatar creation, pattern processing, simulation, and rendering, are presented. However, in the 2D environment of the Marvelous Designer package, it is impossible to analytically define pattern boundaries, which is a drawback for building a computer-aided design system. To implement automated clothing design and manufacturing, we propose analytical pattern definition in the Maple environment, 3D product visualization in Maple taking into account the physical properties of the fabric, and integration of developed product patterns into the Marvelous Designer environme

Keywords: 3D modeling; 2D modeling; digital fashion; software packages; virtual clothing; sustainable development; customization

Yakovchik Viсtoria Andreevna Don State Technical University, Shakhty, Russia Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship E-mail: yakovchik.v006@gmail.com RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=1319577 Mitsik Mikhail Fedorovich Don State Technical University, Shakhty, Russia Institute of Service and Entrepreneurship E-mail: m_mits@mail.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3120-6365 RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=386215 WoS: https://www.webofscience.com/wos/author/rid/ACE-0734-2022 …

[50,5

post-2899","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-vol10-no4","category-article
["GET
