The methodology combines scenario-based specification of operational requirements, digital design of the product’s structural basis and specification of functional materials, the development of assembly flow technology and standard operating charts (SOCs) for functional element integration units, as well as stages of virtual verification and preparation for serial production. Particular attention is paid to the development of a quality assurance and resource conservation framework, including the use of lean tools: defect root cause analysis using the Ishikawa diagram, 5S measures, and visual and in-process inspection. Solutions based on shape memory materials, combined digital printing technologies, and 3D-printed finishing elements are considered as technological cases. Key technological limitations, assembly parameters, and processing conditions that have a decisive impact on the stability and repeatability of product quality indicators are highlighted. Additionally, an organizational mechanism for scaling innovative products is described, based on cross-organizational collaboration between light industry enterprises and scientific and educational institutions, as well as the transfer of digital specifications and tolerances into the production cycle. The practical feasibility of the proposed methodology is illustrated by materials from the implementation of a parametrically designed adaptive product in a pilot series of 5 000 units and a description of the integration of the digital model into the actual production cycle.

Keywords: adaptive garments; pre‑production planning; use‑case scenarios; digital design; assembly routing; standard operating cards; lean manufacturing; resource efficiency

Dzhavadov Timur Afisovich Russian State University named A.N.
