The key selection criterion was to preserve the ergonomic characteristics of the product: the freedom to lift the arms, move forward and other typical movements of the upper extremities. The paper compares four sleeve cuts (V-neck, shirt, raglan, as well as sleeves with a gusset and a one-piece cut-off side) using the three-dimensional virtual modeling method in the CLO3D program. A total of 80 virtual tests were conducted with varying degrees of tightening of the harness and its pressure. The assessment was carried out according to three groups of parameters: pressure on the fabric and on the tourniquet itself, deformation of the material, displacement of structural components (neck, armhole, shoulder seam). As a result, it was found that for each cut, the maximum height position of the tourniquet relative to the posterior angle of the armpit can be determined, at which the required range of arm movements is maintained. The highest overlap height (3 cm higher than that of other cuts) was achieved for a design with a gusset and a one-piece cut-off barrel. At the same time, the deformations of the material and the displacement of the nodes remain within acceptable limits, and the movements of the hands are not limited.
