The study reveals that the decor, as the costume develops, becomes more complicated in terms of technology, materials and in terms of ties with the costume.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The examples presented in the article demonstrate new qualities and possibilities of decor in a development of garments: the use of several types of decorations and crafts in one look; large-scale penetration of decor into all production groups, including those that were traditionally minimally decorated; the ability to significantly influence and change the style and the narrative of the costume, depending on the type and material of the decor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new modern quality of the d\u00e9cor \u2013 form shaping \u2013 is highlighted as its new quality. Details of volumetric decor (ruffles, flounces, modules, etc.) perform the function of traditional cut parts (fronts, backs, collars, etc.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As well the objective reasons for the emergence of new types and techniques for decorating surfaces are indicated. The role of digital technology in the emergence of innovative types of d\u00e9cor I reflected in the process of the analysis. The analytical results are formed in the visual scheme table for reader\u2019s convenience. The graphic scheme developed by the authors allows us to understand the mechanism of formation of options for decorating a modern costume based on a combination of traditional and innovative types of techniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The structure of the proposed scheme allows us to conclude that the topic has a high perspective of usage and appliance, since the number of combinations may not be limited.
