Abstract. The article shows the development of the motorcycle industry under the influence of changing eras. A significant period for the motorcycle industry has been identified, which prompted the creation of huge corporations for the production of motorcycles of various classes. The main guidelines for choosing a motorcycle have been established. The concept of «style» is considered, which, from a literary point of view, is borrowed from Western European languages and in translation means «manner, line of conduct, way of life», affecting the careful composition of the image, expressed through the costume. From the epistemological point of view, the main characteristics of the image are revealed. An analysis of stylistic and constructive solutions that have an important conceptual role in the image of a motorcyclist is given, since it includes an aesthetic orientation.

On the basis of visual analysis, criteria were defined that characterize the external features of leather goods motorcycle accessories: by type and shape, depending on the location, method of fastening, materials, style and decoration. The authors summarized information about the designs and shaping of motorcyclist accessories in accordance with the class and dimensions of the bike.

Due to the properties of leather, it is possible to design products with soft, rigid and semi-rigid structures, depending on the individual preferences of the biker.

In the form of a diagram, an overview of the options for motorcycle classes is presented, using the designs of leather accessories of varying degrees of rigidity, followed by the definition of style solutions. The scheme and description of the design concept can be used as a tool for the formation of a holistic individual image of a biker and motorcycle equipment, including leather accessories.

Such solutions are implemented within the framework of the dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical sciences Koval E.A. and are supposed to be used in the educational process of the department «Artistic modeling, design and technology of leather products», RGU named after A.N. Kosygin (Technology. Design. Art).
