The use of knitwear in the development of uniforms for students

Abstract. The relevance of the topic is related to the modernization of clothing for students, the use of various design elements and textiles. The purpose of the work was the development of design documentation for the production of uniforms for knitwear for students. The object of the study was chosen: for girls — Sleeveless dress, trouser suit (vest and trousers); for boys — a vest and jacket. For the design of uniforms, a survey of students of the educational institution on the preferences of different types of assortment of clothing. The dynamics of students’ demand for clothes from various types of textile materials is analyzed, showing the preference for using knitted fabrics made from natural raw materials. The financial component of consumers’ purchasing power, which is the average price level, has been studied. Sketch design of the designed models is executed. The analytical and calculation method for designing the clothes of the YEMKO TSOTSHL is selected, the initial data for the design of clothing made from knitted fabrics is taken into account, taking into account the constructive decorative decision of the models, the properties of knitted fabrics and the way of production. Design documentation has been developed, taking into account the requirements for the production of uniforms for schoolchildren. The developed design documentation is needed in the future at the stage of technological design of uniforms at the fashion industry enterprises.
