Abstract. In the modern world, fashion is rapidly transforming, going beyond the usual ideas about materials, forms and design. Traditional fabrics are being replaced by innovative solutions: recycled plastic, biopolymers, metal and glass elements, as well as organic materials such as nettles, algae and even bacterial cultures. This trend is driven not only by the desire for experiments in design, but also by the environmental agenda, which requires rethinking approaches to the production of clothing and accessories.

This article examines the precedents of non-traditional materials in fashion, the key factors in the growth of their popularity, including their environmental efficiency, technological accessibility and aesthetic value. The impact of alternative materials on the industry and the creation of fundamentally new textures and visual effects is considered.

Examples of successful cases from leading designers and brands are analyzed, demonstrating how non-traditional materials can combine functionality, aesthetics and sustainability. In addition, the role of conscious consumption in shaping demand for eco-friendly fashion, competent recycling of materials and prospects for further development of this area are discussed. Particular attention is paid to images made from recycled ceramics. Based on the data obtained, a collection of porcelain corsets was created. The article emphasizes that the future of fashion is a harmonious combination of technology, ecology and creativity, where non-traditional materials are becoming not just a trend, but a necessary element of a responsible approach to design.
