Abstract. The article raises the problem of blurring gender boundaries in fashion and as a consequence in other spheres of life. Also we are talking about the responsibility of designers for the ideas being promoted to the masses. As practice shows, for the sake of shocking and «wow-effect» designers are capable of much. On the podium are models with an incomprehensible gender sign or at all men in women’s clothing. How dangerous for society is this trend, and what are the ways out for modern designers.
