Abstract. The article is devoted to the process of developing a collection of modern clothing using innovative technologies. The main technological breakthrough of the 21st century is artificial intelligence, which is actively used in almost all areas of design. Modern reality requires a specialist to quickly respond to technological innovations, integrating them into established processes for creating new products, allowing them to remain in demand in the competitive market.

The use of artificial intelligence at various stages of creating and promoting design items is becoming a popular practice among leading specialists in the fashion world.

The article discusses the stages of development of a modern women’s evening collection, as well as the possibility of using artificial intelligence in the form of an auxiliary working tool when creating products in the fashion industry, to reduce time and intellectual costs, as well as increase the creative potential of the designer.
The Art Deco era was chosen as a source of inspiration for creating a collection of modern images of evening wear, as a symbol of attractiveness and elegance in art and fashion, combined with boldness and comfort, which corresponds to the needs of the modern consumer at the moment.

The authors of the article consider the possibilities of using artificial intelligence within the traditional collection development process at various stages. The possibilities of introducing neural networks are analyzed and used in the development of a draft series of new models with the subsequent production of a finished collection of evening dresses.

To develop basic and model designs, the experimental German method of cutting Lutterloh’s clothes «Golden Section» was used, which makes it possible to obtain patterns without additional complex calculations.
