Abstract. The article presents issues related to rehabilitation and social adaptation of children with disabilities. Technical means of rehabilitation are an integral part of this process. The developed products should not only be ergonomic and functional, but also aesthetic and psychologically comfortable for children, as well as have a rehabilitation effect. To implement the stated requirements, it is proposed to use the principles of the management system as an effective tool for inclusive design.

A method for managing the interaction of textile rehabilitation tools with the child’s condition is proposed, which will ensure the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process, design, analysis and use of textile rehabilitation tools that contribute to improving the child’s relationship with society and its social inclusion.

The article considers the classical block diagram of a single-circuit control system, the characteristic features of which are used by the authors to describe the work of textile rehabilitation tools.

It is shown that when considering compensation for a violation of the body’s functioning or restriction of a child’s vital activity, two options are possible: with a negative feedback loop and an integrating link, as well as with a positive feedback loop. It is shown that both options provide almost complete elimination of static errors in the management of the child’s body.

Examples of using the considered mathematical apparatus for specific textile rehabilitation tools are given. The corrector of the child’s posture and body position in the sitting position on a chair has a negative feedback loop. Developing products are identified by a positive feedback loop. Implementation of the management system principles can be considered as an integral part of the design of textile rehabilitation products.
