Abstract. The men’s clothing market of the waist clothing assortment is diverse and is represented by products for different seasons. Most representatives of the stronger sex prefer to have jeans and classic trousers in their wardrobe, which can be combined with various types of shoulder clothing. Men of the younger age group actively follow fashion trends and acquire trousers of bold decisions.

The purpose of this work is to identify the features of modern technology of processing knots of men’s trousers of classical style. The classification of men’s trousers according to various characteristics (style, silhouette, model, fit, materials, prints, decor, length, type of fasteners and pockets, methods of processing the upper and lower edges of trousers) was developed by the authors. Analogs to an existing object or, conversely, those that differ from it can be selected for each feature. Special attention is paid to the quality of processing of such nodes as pockets, fastener, upper edge of trousers in the production of men’s trousers. The features of the processing of zipper fasteners, where a button catch with a cut-off lining of an elongated design is used, which allows to sharpen the angle of the belt simultaneously with the outer edge of the button catch, are considered in the article. The technology of processing the upper edge of trousers with a belt, where a prefabricated corsage of various designs is used, providing longitudinal and transverse rigidity of the belt and improving the operational properties of the product, is described. The method of processing a side regulator with a hidden elastic band, with which during operation it is possible to reduce or increase the length of the belt is presented. Such processing of the nodes creates an aesthetic appearance of the product from its front and back sides, provides a high level of quality of the finished product, distinguishes the product from analogues and increases its consumer value. The proposed assembly schemes of product assemblies can be useful to specialists of the garment industry when mastering the technology of manufacturing modern models of trousers and forming technological documentation for process design.
