Abstract. Mass customization has found application for the design and sale of various clothing assortments. The author analyzes the websites of Russian and international brands, which allows you to set the level of customization from changing the color, material of the product to choosing the desired structural elements.
As a method of synthesizing models of women’s dresses, the author of the article suggests using a morphological table that allows you to structure the process of product formation. This method is the optimal tool for the non-automated structural synthesis of the designed assortment. To implement the customization technology, a basic dress model is selected, for which a wide selection of artistic and constructive elements is offered on the established sections of the structure: neck, sleeve, back, front, skirt, waistline. The sale of products in the online space should provide models focused on adjacent sizes to meet the preferences of a larger number of consumers. In the article, the author suggests artistic and constructive signs that contribute to an increase in the interval of indifference at the level of the chest, waist and hips.
The use of a relational database as a model designer is considered as the most practical and affordable way to implement customization technology at small production enterprises, as well as in online ateliers. By the author of the article, the formation of the dress model is carried out taking into account the sleeve, the design of the skirt and the neck of the product. Each structural element has a name, description and image. This database can be expanded by adding new levels of detail: a design solution for the front, back, waistline. In addition, it is possible to introduce new artistic and constructive features in accordance with changing fashion trends or consumer preferences.
