Abstract. This article explores the relationship between olfactory art and fashion, exploring how scents can be used to create unique concepts. Examples of renowned artists who create scents for their installations are discussed. Scents can evoke powerful associations and memories, creating sensations that are difficult to put into words. Creating installations using scents can aim to engage with the viewer on a deeper level than traditional visual arts. Artists can use different scents to create an atmosphere, convey a story, or even address social issues. Performances that involve scents can evoke a purely physical response in viewers, immersing them in a state where they become not only spectators but also participants.
The practical aspects of creating fragrances for clothing and potential ways of integrating them into the creation of authorial ideas are also discussed, including the use of aromatherapy to enhance the shopping experience. The integration of olfactory art into clothing design and fashion creates revolutionary opportunities for self-expression and interaction with customers. The exploration of the relationship between smells and visual elements contributes to the creation of new, deep and multi-layered fashion experiences, shaping the future of the industry. The introduction of olfactory elements into galleries and exhibitions is a new step towards a more complete perception of art. This creates not just exhibitions, but unique multi-sensory spaces that unite viewers and works of art on a new level. Each event becomes not just an exhibition, but an opportunity to create a new experience that will be remembered for a long time.
