Abstract. Digitalization is developing technologies for remote work and leisure, soon it will be possible to do without real clothes while communicating online, virtual atelier and shops will help you choose an outfit according to the situation.

An important stage in the development of digital ateliers and stores will be a quick virtual fitting of clothes. Now it takes several days and the designer’s manual labor to see his avatar in one way or another. Some brands are already starting to implement such an opportunity on an open platform for fitting virtual clothes: a few seconds are enough to make a digital avatar out of a user selfie, after which the user can choose his type of figure and try on the thing he likes. The platform has its own imperfections: the inability to load the exact parameters of the figure, the elaboration of the avatar, but perhaps soon everyone will have a digital copy of the body and the ability to create a 3D model from a photo.

The article analyzes the existing analog tools for choosing ready-made clothing models, depending on the characteristics of the individual figure, appearance and taking into account the items of clothing available in the wardrobe of consumers. An experimental study is described, which takes place in two stages, to determine the input information for the use of neural networks for recognizing the silhouette of a consumer, followed by the selection of a virtual figure in a digital wardrobe selection system. A questionnaire was conducted on the conformity of the evaluation perception, for the subsequent training of the digital system, for the selection of a fashionable image, style in accordance with the individual preferences of the consumer or the structure of the figure according to the silhouette.
