Abstract. The purpose of the scientific research is to develop a new method of designing jewelry based on the results of the structural and graphic analysis of the creative source. The article discusses the principle of using structural and graphical analysis as a method of exploring a creative source to create a figurative-associative chain of shaping three-dimensional structures that could later be suitable for transformation into jewelry. The work is presented in the form of a methodology for developing design projects using figurative-associative design based on a structural and graphical analysis of a bionic creative source, namely, the organs of hearing and smell of representatives of the bat squad. The relevance of the chosen topic lies in the fact that at present, in the world of high technology, love of parametricism and impeccable execution, there is a natural requirement for high-quality design. Today, the concept of design has not only a visual, but also a semantic component, in which the figurative solution must necessarily be based not only on a straightforward, but also on a sensual figurative-associative perception of the source. All together is subject to a single concept that involves several design methods at once. A new algorithm for shaping jewelry models is proposed based on structural and graphical analysis and figurative-associative design. A new design method that expands the range of shaping options will allow to increase the efficiency of work in the development of models of costume accessories and jewelry.
