Abstract. The article analyzes school uniform as a key visual and cultural marker of the educational environment and as an object of digital design. The authors reveal the dual nature of academic dress code: it disciplines and fosters collective belonging, yet is often perceived by teenagers as restrictive, prompting efforts to adapt silhouettes and styles. Special attention is paid to its media representation, where historical references to classical canons intersect with contemporary youth self-expression. The paper describes a collaborative project involving university students and schoolchildren. Combining sociological surveys, joint creative workshops, and digital 3D visualization, the study identifies latent aesthetic preferences and transforms regulatory requirements into an open creative dialogue. It demonstrates how integrating adolescent perspectives and digital tools facilitates a shift from rigid administrative standards to a flexible dress code model. Results confirm that updating school uniform transcends utilitarian concerns, becoming a profound cultural practice. Digital visualization ensures transparency in the design process, yielding outcomes that balance institutional requirements with youth aesthetic expectations. Such initiatives validate participatory methods in educational environment design, transforming uniform from a tool of unification into a medium of cultural communication that strengthens trust among educational stakeholders.
