Abstract. This article describes the current trends in the design of sports equipment. This study uses the results of the analysis of information consisting of the systematization and study of the problem associated with the improvement of protective equipment for athletes through the introduction of new constructive and technological solutions. Special attention is paid to modern trends in the design of sports equipment. The article discusses various aspects, including the use of new materials and technologies and improving the quality and comfort of use. The authors of the article discuss how modern trends affect the development and improvement of sports results, as well as the comfort and protection of athletes during competitions. The article notes that an important perspective is the use of new materials that provide not only high protection and comfort but also allow you to create lightweight and functional products. Consumers and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
The advantages of using fibers with an antibacterial coating, which makes textile materials more hygienic, are considered. As an example of new materials, bamboo-based textiles with high strength, breathability, and moisture removal are noted. The properties of innovative textiles made from shellfish and textile materials based on recovered fibers are analyzed. One of the prospects for improving the process of designing sports equipment is the use of computer modeling and three-dimensional printing. New technologies, such as 3D printing and body scanning, will help to personalize equipment for the individual needs of each athlete, thereby improving the functionality and comfort of products.
Technological innovations continue to change modern sportswear. Smart textile materials, built-in sensors, and temperature-regulating technologies make sports kits more functional. The equipment must meet the specific requirements of each sport and the individual needs of each consumer. In conclusion, the authors summarize and make predictions about future trends in the design of sports equipment and its role in the development of sports.
