Abstract. One of the most popular sports today is football: it hosts championships both within countries and international championships of national teams. Each team plays in a uniform specially designed for a particular championship. The uniform of the national teams of the countries is part of the image of the country for which it plays. The article describes the history of football uniforms: designs of football uniforms to the present day and its manufacturing technologies. The purpose of this work is to identify trends in the use of prints and colors on the uniforms of the teams of the European Football Championship (2016, 2021). The article analyzes 48 home and 48 guest forms of teams participating in the European Championships, and identifies general trends in the use of prints and colors on the EURO 2016 and EURO 2021 forms. The dominant print on the football uniform of the European Championship 2016 is the horizontal stripe/stripes. Prints with vertical and diagonal stripes and abstract prints are also popular. In the form of 2021, new types of prints appear: patterns and ornaments, rays of the sun, a cross. The least commonly used prints are those with triangles (2 shapes). In the European Football Championship 2021, most often do not use prints on T-shirts. But still, horizontal stripes/stripes dominate the prints, and patterns and ornaments are also often used (in the forms of the collection of Italy and Switzerland in 2021). The article also shows trends in the use of colors in the forms of championships. Most often, the design of the uniform of the European Championship in 2016 and 2020 is dominated by white. Next, the second most popular color is red. Green is the least commonly used color: in the uniform of the Irish national team at the 2016 Championship. Conclusions are made on the selection of colors in football uniforms and their combinations.
