Abstract. The article examines the process of creative interaction between fashion designers and architects, which opens up new horizons for creative self-expression. This synthesis not only enriches both fields, but also shapes cultural experience, emphasizing the importance of their interrelationship in contemporary art. Inspired by the unusual silhouettes of fashion, architects challenge traditional ideas about architectural objects. Whereas fashion designers, turning to architectural forms, create new images in unexpected architectural proportions.
The technological possibilities of the 21st century are increasingly blurring the boundaries between these disciplines: 3D printing and digital fashion allow designers to create clothes by reflecting architectural ideas through new forms of costume. It is through this exchange that both fields of art become not only carriers of aesthetics, but also catalysts of socio-cultural changes, emphasizing the relationship between aesthetics, form and function.
Modern designers and architects, strengthening relationships, increasingly turning to innovative materials. The concept of a smart home and the active use of innovative technologies in fashion are inextricably linked. Designers strive to create clothes that are not only aesthetically attractive, but also functionally adapted to changing living conditions. Architecture and fashion become platforms for experimentation, realizing the idea that art has no boundaries.
However, in the rapidly changing world of technology, it is important not to forget about the human aspect. As Don Norman points out, the success of any idea lies in the way it intersects with the real needs of the user. Designers should be willing to listen and learn from those they create for. The expansion of an interdisciplinary approach can help to develop solutions that correspond to a wide variety of aspects of life. 21st century design is not only a tool of aesthetic expression, but also a means of creating a comfortable environment based on empathy. Understanding user needs is a key element of successful design.
The new design — comfort and empathy design — requires updating working methods at all stages of the design process, including improving artistic design techniques by integrating new generation tools into the process — virtual prototyping and artificial intelligence technologies.
