Abstract. The article presents an innovative system model «Human-Clothing-Environment» in relation to military uniforms, developed based on the method of two-level triadic decryption of the theory of dynamic information systems. The authors propose a detailed method for analyzing interactions in a system where clothing acts as an adaptive buffer between the human and the environment, which allows for new meanings to be obtained when considering the traditional triad. The article explores in detail the complex interaction of anthropometric and psychophysiological characteristics of the human with the design features of clothing and the parameters of the environment. Special attention is paid to the method of triadic mutations, which allows us to analyze the system through combinations of basic categories. At the first level, the main elements of the system are deciphered. At the second level, the new triadic complexes obtained are interpreted, and their relationships allow us to identify the components necessary for solving the problem of designing functional field clothing models that can reduce the energy consumption of military personnel in given conditions, and to describe the impact on perception through structural, material, and environmental factors. The article demonstrates the capabilities of 3D modeling for analyzing the ergonomic characteristics of military clothing. The methodological novelty lies in the formalization of the relationships between the system components through a sequence of triadic transformations. The results are of interest for the development of a methodology for ergonomic design of clothing and for understanding the holistic picture of the interaction between the elements of the «Man-Clothing-Environment» system. The practical significance of the research lies in the possibility of reducing the time and financial costs associated with the development of new military uniforms.
