Abstract. The main task posed by the author of the article is to search for the main trends in fashion for the coming season, in particular in the segment of knitwear production. There is an analysis of knitted products in collections of leading fashion houses for 2017-2018 was conducted. The main production perspective is a direct silhouette, a contrasting color scheme with the use of pure colors, jacquard and intarsia, in the assortment group there is a mixture of sports and classical clothing. The dominant sportswear style explains the appearance of fashion for abstract and geometric ornaments. The latter echoes the theme of pixel graphics, which finds its manifestations in advertising, web design, contemporary pictorial art, photography, street art, interior decorations. Also, the motifs of pixels can be found in architectural structures, games for mobile phones and, of course, in fashion. As a result of the analysis, signs were revealed to create collections for the new season: sport style, geometric ornament, pixel ornament theme, deconstructivism theme, contrast color, printed pattern. The article presents sketches of a graduation collection based on these indicators.
