Abstract. In the article «training Experience creative work with the students for the competition «I Want to be a fashion designer» on the example of collections «Above the sky», the author examines consistent work with students to create collections. In the process of working on the collection, students complete work cycle, which takes place every designer on the production process of creating a collection, from concept, through creative sources, further research part of study fashion trends and market research for the demand in the market in assortment of silhouette, color, material. The aim of this project is an independent search and study of information on preliminary studies. Students are responsible for making decisions about the form and type of construction. Hone the skills that are unable to hone during school hours. In the process of working on the collection, students are not only familiar materials, but also can create your own. This experience is invaluable not only in honing skills acquired in the study process, but also immerses them in the creative atmosphere of the production creation collection, which in turn strengthens their confidence in the correctness of choice of profession.
