Abstract. The article aims to analyze the techniques of pictorial techniques to achieve the figurative characteristics of the color and plastic solutions of knitted fabrics.

Artists dealing with knitted cloths must learn to represent the future canvas as canvas, on which they must be painted in accordance with a certain way. Images arise in the head in the presence of sources. where you can draw and ideas, and color solution, and a special non-trivial texture, because the main thing is the constant enrichment of the canvas, its appearance, the richness of its decoration. First of all, it is the surface of the knitwear that plays the main role when choosing a product. And for this it is important to know how to achieve enrichment, what technical and technological methods to use.

That is why the idea arose to analyze the techniques of pictorial techniques to achieve the figurative characteristics of the color-plastic solution of the knitted fabric. The designer should be able to substantiate the invented model, choose the right yarn, weave and knitting technology, as well as the necessary types of finishing operations to make the canvas interesting, creative design.

The results of this work can be used in the development of a suit of knitted fabrics and fabrics, as well as further deepening and development of this methodology for designing a suit.

Project practice using this technique has the opportunity to set benchmarks for improving the professional training of designers and stylists, as well as expand the boundaries of their creative research.
