Abstract. The article discusses the integration of creative approaches into the process of artistic design of costume collections. The modern world places increased demands on the aesthetic appeal of objects. In Russia, design has traditionally been understood as the work of an artist-designer who creates industrial products and shapes the material environment. The foundation of design is the creation of comfortable and beautiful products that are focused on meeting the social and personal needs of individuals, both material and spiritual. In the field of artistic education in Russia, particularly in design, there have been significant qualitative changes that have strengthened the connection between practical activities, scientific research, and the training of specialists in universities. The article covers the concept of edutainment, an educational methodology that combines learning and entertainment, and its relevance in the educational process.
The article presents the opinions of experts from leading universities in various fields regarding the implementation of this technology in the educational process. It describes an educational experimental project aimed at creating an author’s collection of costumes, where edutainment serves as a gaming environment. The article emphasizes that edutainment, as an innovative approach to education, involves actively engaging students in the creative process, allowing them to acquire knowledge, experience, and positive emotions through interaction with informative and playful content.
