Abstract. This article is devoted to the development of information support for an expert decision support system for the selection, operation and manufacturing technology of bra group products. The article states that it is possible to increase consumer satisfaction with the quality of corsetry products by creating expert systems that can find and convert information into the required form both for designing corsetry products and for choosing models suitable for consumers, by combining the principles of computer-aided design systems and information retrieval systems. The author presents the structure of the knowledge base, which includes the systematized main technical characteristics of the product; classification of corset products of the bra group; structured consumer preferences depending on the characteristics of the consumer; recommendations on the selection and operation of the manufacture of bra group products, taking into account the individual characteristics of consumers. The author provides a developed classification of bra group products, which is necessary to obtain systematized information about a specific bra model, as well as product identification. In addition, the paper presents the developed recommendations that form the main block of the projected knowledge base, in accordance with them, when working in the expert system, a document will be generated that includes the technical characteristics of the product and recommendations for operation and choice for the consumer. Further in this work, based on the analysis and generalization of data on manufacturing technology and quality indicators, the development of a classification and recommendations for the selection and operation of bra group products, a conceptual model of the projected expert system was developed. Based on the results of this work, an inference mechanism was developed that reflects the relationship between the classification features of the product, structural elements and the developed recommendations for the user.
