Abstract. The study of modern methods of finishing shoes is one of the urgent tasks of the constructive and decorative solution of products. The relevance is due to the fact that with the advent of new types of materials and new types of decoration with different properties, it becomes necessary to analyze and evaluate modern technologies in relation to fashion trends. The article discusses the methods of shoe decoration performed with the help of modern digital technologies, analyzes the types and technological modes using the example of luxury-style products. Additional decor, constantly developing technologies, the peculiarity of the designer’s and designer’s thinking — all this individualizes each pair. There are quite a lot of ways to decorate and brand shoes, that is, to develop an identification system for an existing or new brand. The types of finishes used can be divided into four main types: embossing, perforation, printing and embroidery. Decor is used to improve the appearance of the product. Graphic elements are of great importance in the compositional solution of shoes: trademark and labeling. They do not always carry a functional load, but they invariably attract the attention of potential consumers. When developing new models for its decoration, the details of the shoe are finished before assembling the workpiece. The main purpose of decorating operations is to improve the appearance of shoes and their decorative design The purpose of the article is to analyze the range of sports style shoes presented on the websites and online platforms of brands, in particular Farfetch and WGSN (Worth Global Style Network), an e-commerce company specializing in luxury fashion products, which will highlight several technologies that actively used in production: embossing, perforation, printing on the surface of the upper parts of shoes, embroidery. This approach is being developed within the framework of the master’s thesis of Donadoeva L.V. and is supposed to be introduced into the educational process of the department of «Artistic modeling, design and technology of leather products».
