Abstract. This article discusses approaches to targeted design of a men’s suit for consumers who need a unique and fashionable image in connection with their professional activities. Targeted design is primarily aimed at meeting the needs of a specific type of consumer, which takes into account his values, preferences, anthropometric fit to the figure, etc. The essence of the problem is that today in stores and boutiques with ready-made clothing there is a limited selection of design solutions for men’s suits. All suits from different brands, as shown by their fitting on an individual figure, create practically one traditional silhouette, independent of the body type of a given figure. The absence of elements of modern design and current fashion trends in such clothing does not allow the type of consumer under study to create their own fashionable image. This article is devoted to solving the issues of meeting the needs for creative clothing for a certain type of buyer. A non-standard approach to the design of such a suit is necessary to obtain an original model solution that can correct the external data of an individual figure. Consumers who are in a certain professional environment require a distinctive appearance. Using a creative source of inspiration has its own characteristics that can lead to the creation of a unique new design concept and original ideas. The work uses the method of artistic modeling of the consumer, modeled the process of developing the shape and silhouette of targeted designer clothing based on combining the results of the shaping of a creative source and dynamic rectangles.
