Abstract. The production of clothing for children for various purposes in Russia is becoming more in demand. A key role in this is played by anthropometric standards, which are the basis for the design of proportionate clothing and its implementation. In most regions of Russia, the scales of sizes and heights do not correspond to the developed recommendations. The problem we are considering affects not only the satisfaction of the needs of the child population of the country with ready-made clothes, but also leads to a significant extent to financial losses of enterprises.

The authors present the results of statistical processing of anthropometric information in order to obtain data on the regional scale of typical figures of boys in the primary school age group.

The use of a regional scale of typical sizes for boys will increase the efficiency of designing proportionate clothing, thereby increasing their implementation.
